Rebirth Of The Beat - Sandy Nelson Used Vinyl LP Record

Sandy Nelson’s 1969 Rebirth Of The Beat is that gritty, late‑night drum record every crate-digger hopes to stumble on and almost never does. The kick is warm, the snare snaps, and the whole LP feels like a secret rhythm section rehearsal that someone quietly pressed to wax.

This copy’s in Very Good Minus on both record and cover, which means it’s been played, loved, and still has plenty of life in the grooves. A few scuffs, a little ringwear, but nothing that gets in the way of those rolling toms and tight hi-hat patterns. Liberty’s late‑60s pressings have a punch that digital reissues just don’t catch, and this one still brings that room-shaking thump.

If you’re into dusty drum breaks, mod-era rhythm & blues, or just want a raw, percussive backdrop for your own projects, this is a sleeper essential. Spin it loud, let the neighbors wonder what band is rehearsing next door, and give those well-aged grooves another round on your turntable.
