Royal Jam - The Crusaders Used Vinyl LP Record

The Crusaders’ 1982 live set “Royal Jam” captures that perfect late‑night city glow—tight rhythm section, velvet keys, and horn lines that walk in like they own the room. This MCA Records 2LP pressing spins at 33 RPM, with both records in Very Good shape, so the snap of the snare and those smooth bass runs come through with plenty of life. The gatefold cover sits at Very Good Minus, with light shelf wear that feels more like honest history than damage.

What makes this one special is the way it balances polish and sweat: it’s slick, but you can still feel the band working the stage, stretching grooves without losing the pocket. If you want a live jazz‑funk set that actually makes the room feel warmer the second the needle hits, this is it.
