Running In The Family - Level 42 Used Vinyl LP Record

This 1987 Polydor pressing of Level 42’s “Running In The Family” is peak glossy pop‑funk: tight bass, crisp drums, and hooks that stay in your head for days. The vinyl itself sits in Very Good Plus shape — surfaces are clean, with that satisfying, full analog punch when you turn it up. The cover lands at Very Good Minus: some edge wear and light creasing, the kind that says it’s actually been loved, not shelved and forgotten.

Spin “Lessons In Love” or the title track and you’re right back in that late‑80s sweet spot where chart hits still had real musicians locked in together. It’s the kind of record that makes you unconsciously tap the hi‑hat pattern on the table while you’re flipping the sleeve notes. If you’ve been waiting for a solid playing copy that still feels collectible without being museum‑precious, this one hits the mark.
