Sabotage - Black Sabbath - LP - Pre Owned Vinyl (Arrives in 21days)

Released in 1975, 'Sabotage' stands as a testament to Black Sabbath’s relentless creativity during a tumultuous period. The band, buffeted by legal battles and exhaustion, funneled their frustrations into a record that’s both urgent and daring. From the opening salvo of 'Hole in the Sky' to the dramatic journey of 'Megalomania,' Sabbath pushes their heavy sound into complex, unpredictable territory. Tony Iommi’s guitar work is at once punishing and intricate, while Ozzy Osbourne’s vocals drip with desperation and defiance. The album’s willingness to embrace progressive structures, especially on tracks like 'Symptom of the Universe,' hints at the genre’s future, while still grounding itself in the riff-driven power Sabbath pioneered. Lyrically, 'Sabotage' is direct and unflinching, reflecting the band’s real-world struggles and inner turmoil. For collectors, this album represents a pivotal moment when heavy music’s architects broke their own mold. It’s a must-have for those who appreciate albums that capture a band at the edge—both artistically and personally—yielding music that is as intense as it is innovative.
