Salaakhen - Ravindra Jain Used Vinyl LP Record

This original 1975 HMV pressing of *Salaakhen* brings Ravindra Jain’s melodic storytelling back to the turntable where it belongs. The recordCondition is Very Good Minus, so you’ll hear the expected light surface noise in quieter parts, but the music still comes through warm and full, just the way these Hindi film songs should. The coverCondition is also Very Good Minus, with gentle ring wear and small age marks that feel more like a stamp of history than a flaw.

What makes this LP special is that unmistakable mid-’70s Bollywood sound: rich strings, unhurried arrangements, and songs that feel like scenes from a film you half-remember from childhood TV reruns. It’s a solid pick if you’re building a period-correct Hindi soundtrack shelf, or if you just like your records with a bit of life already lived into them.
