Sammy Davis Jr. & Count Basie - Sammy Davis Jr. Used Vinyl LP Record

When Sammy Davis Jr. teams up with Count Basie, you don’t just get songs—you get two legends trading sparks. This 1973 MGM Records LP catches Sammy in nimble voice riding Basie’s famously tight, brassy swing, the kind that makes your foot move before your brain agrees.

The vinyl sits in Very Good Minus shape: a few light marks, but it still plays with that warm, roomy sound you only get on an original ’70s pressing. The cover is also Very Good Minus, showing honest shelf wear—like a tux that’s seen a few late nights, but still looks sharp on the hanger.

This is a perfect pick for anyone who wants jazz vocals with bite, big-band punch, and that late-club glow in the room. Spin it with the lights low, let the horns push from the back, and you’ll understand why pairings like this don’t come around often.
