Santana – Lotus (3 Lp) - Brand New - Vinyl LP Record (Quick Ship)

“Lotus” is the sound of Santana stepping into another dimension. Recorded live in Japan in 1973 and spread across three LPs, this set captures the band in their most exploratory phase—long after Woodstock glory, deep into jazz‑rock, spiritual chants, and extended improvisation. If you only know the radio hits, this feels like discovering a secret, wilder Santana hidden in plain sight.

The band stretches songs into hypnotic suites, fusing Latin percussion, electric jazz, and searing rock guitar into a psychedelic ritual. Carlos Santana’s tone is fierce yet searching, weaving through organ swells, trumpet lines, and polyrhythmic grooves that never sit still. You can hear a group intent on pushing beyond the confines of rock into something more cosmic and free.

On vinyl, “Lotus” comes alive as a true listening event. The 3LP format lets the performances breathe, encouraging you to sit with each side as its own chapter in a larger spiritual arc. For collectors, it’s an essential document of 1970s experimentation; for listeners, it’s a portal—raw, immersive, and endlessly replayable. If you want Santana at full risk‑taking power, this is the record to own.
