Satrangi: Thumri, Dadra & Enchanting Melodies - Pt. K. G. Ginde Sealed Audio CD

This Meera Music CD captures Pt. K. G. Ginde at his unhurried, luminous best. Each Thumri and Dadra unfolds like a quiet conversation at midnight—ornamented, intimate, and steeped in an old Lucknow–Banaras mehfil mood. The Hindi vocal phrasing is razor-sharp yet soft around the edges, with tan and murki floating over a beautifully balanced tabla–harmonium bed.

For a 2014 release, the sound on this Audio CD is surprisingly warm, without the harsh top-end you often get on modern transfers. The recordCondition is Mint and the coverCondition is Mint, so it feels more like pulling a fresh pressing off the shelf than a used copy. No scuffs, no booklet creases—just clean, collectible perfection for your Indian classical vocal section.

If you’re building a serious gharana-focused library or just want one CD that instantly transports the room into a traditional baithak, this is that disc. Buy Satrangi: Thumri, Dadra & Enchanting Melodies cd in Mint condition Today!
