Second Album - Roy Buchanan - LP - Pre Owned Vinyl (Arrives in 21days)

Roy Buchanan’s 'Second Album' stands as one of the great testaments to his understated genius as a guitarist. While he never became a household name, Buchanan’s tone and phrasing on this 1973 release cemented his reputation as a true musician’s musician. Each track is a study in expressive restraint and explosive power, from the aching bends of 'After Hours' to the sly, muscular groove of 'Five String Blues.' Rather than relying on studio trickery, Buchanan lets his Telecaster and soulful voice do the storytelling, weaving blues traditions with a touch of country and rock. For devotees of roots music, this record is a treasure—the sound of an artist pouring heart and history into every lick. It’s also a cultural snapshot, capturing a restless American spirit in the early ‘70s, when blues was searching for new voices. If you crave albums that reveal new emotional depths with every spin, 'Second Album' deserves a prominent spot in your collection. This is not just a showcase of guitar virtuosity, but a deeply personal statement from one of the instrument’s most enigmatic masters.
