Second Coming - Paul Johnson - Audio CD - Pre Owned CDs (Arrives in 14days)

Paul Johnson’s 'Second Coming' is more than a showcase of late-90s Chicago house; it’s a statement of resilience and creative ingenuity. With his signature blend of stripped-down, funk-fueled rhythms and soulful, infectious hooks, Johnson delivers tracks that feel both immediate and timeless. This album stands apart for its unfiltered energy—each beat is meticulously crafted for movement, yet never loses the warmth that defined Chicago’s underground. While dance music often chases trends, Johnson’s approach is refreshingly direct, putting groove and feeling at the forefront. 'Second Coming' is not just an album for club nights—it’s an essential document of house music’s enduring spirit, created by an artist whose life and music are deeply intertwined with the genre’s evolution. For collectors, this pressing captures the raw, analog charm that digital reissues can’t replicate. If you’re a fan of transformative dance records with historical weight and undeniable groove, this album is a must-have for your rotation.
