Seguedilles - Crebassa - Audio CD (Arrives in 50 days)

With her new album Seguedilles, Marianne Crebassa is celebrating her French-Spanish roots: the focus of the recording are French composers who were inspired by Spain and Spanish composers who were looking for new ideas in France. The opera arias and songs - including many that musically refer to the traditional Spanish "Seguidilla" - include world hits such as the "Habanera" from Bizet's Carmen and Falla's "Vivan los que rien" from La Vida breve. Seguedilles also draws portraits of 5 strong female characters, "temperaments de feu": Carmen, Dulcinee, Concepcion, Perichole and Salud. The album was recorded with the Choeur and Orchester National du Capitole de Toulouse and Ben Glassberg, with the participation of numerous guests.
