Since Time Is Gravity - Natural Information So... - LP - Brand New Vinyl (Arrives in 20days)

With 'SINCE TIME IS GRAVITY,' Natural Information Society crafts a sonic ritual that feels both timeless and boundary-defying. Led by guimbri virtuoso Joshua Abrams, the ensemble draws from the deep well of jazz, threading in minimalist repetition, North African rhythms, and a meditative pulse that is as welcoming as it is transportive. This is jazz reimagined—not as a soloist’s playground, but as a communal experience where each instrument is a vital voice in a swirling, ever-evolving conversation.

The album’s hypnotic grooves and layered textures reward attentive listening, but its infectious sense of momentum makes it equally compelling for those new to avant-garde jazz. What sets it apart is its organic sense of togetherness: every player seems attuned to both the present moment and a larger, almost spiritual continuity. It’s this collective intuition that gives 'SINCE TIME IS GRAVITY' its magnetic pull, inviting listeners to lose themselves in the music’s cyclical beauty.

For anyone seeking a record that pushes jazz forward while honoring its communal roots, this album is an essential listen—an invitation to experience time and gravity through sound.
