Sinfonico - Mariana Ramos - Vinyl LP Record (Arrives in 50 days)

To mark the 50th anniversary of Cape Verde's independence, Mariana Ramos wanted to pay tribute to Lusophone culture and to Amílcar Cabral, the emblematic figure of this historic event. It was at a concert that I met Philippe Grison, in the presence of Marc-Olivier Dupin, composer, arranger, and conductor. Marc-Olivier Dupin had already expressed his desire to orchestrate my repertoire. We then set to work on the project, 'Sinfonico, the Symphonic Journey to Cape Verde,' a project born of both excitement and apprehension. Selecting the pieces from my repertoire was a difficult process, a careful examination, divided between my favorite songs and those most beloved by my audience.
