‘Stay Around’, the posthumous album by J.J. Cale was released on April 26th. The Grammy Award winning singersongwriter J.J. Cale is one of the most covered artists of the twentieth century. Folk and country influenced, Cale passed away in 2013, but his legacy includes musical influence on Neil Young, Beck, Eric Clapton and many more. His widow, Christine Lakeland Cale, stepped in as the compilation producer for ‘Stay Around’ and delivered songs from the studio and home recordings that were never heard before. ‘Stay Around’ was released on April 26th on CD and 2LP + CD. His 2009 album ‘Roll On’ was also re-issued for this occassion.
