Storyboard - Didier Lockwood - Vinyl LP Record (Arrives in 20 days)

This marks the first volume in a reissue series
dedicated to the essential titles of the iconic
French Dreyfus Jazz catalogue. Opening with
Storyboard by Didier Lockwood isn’t a heritage
move, it’s a living one. In the studio, Lockwood
plugs in the violin, keeps the lyricism, and lets
the music breathe. Joey DeFrancesco brings
depth and shadow on organ, James Genus lays
down a supple foundation on bass, and Steve
Gadd shapes time with effortless authority. The
music moves without explanation, like a film
that doesn’t narrate itself: it plays, it cuts, it
surges forward, and demands to be heard loud.
