Following the release of James Taylor’s 'Shadows and Dreams’, a homage to his love of classical music, he continues his series of radical projects with the announcement of ‘Te Deum’, a new James Taylor Quartet album in collaboration with the Benenden Chapel Choir. ‘Te Deum’ sets the ancient, 4th century Christian text to intense jazz, funk, and Latin grooves. It sees the James Taylor Quartet working alongside the children of the Benenden Chapel Choir, with a guest horn section and legendary Acid Jazz percussionist Snowboy.
