The Love Story of Heer Ranjha (Spoken & Sung) - Madan Mohan Used Vinyl LP Record

This Odeon 1970 pressing of “The Love Story of Heer Ranjha (Spoken & Sung)” feels like finding an old letter in a family trunk. Madan Mohan weaves haunting melodies around the timeless Punjabi folk tale, with spoken narration and songs flowing into each other like chapters in a classic radio drama. The Hindi storytelling meets lush orchestration, giving you that living-room-theatre feeling you don’t get from playlists.

The record itself plays nicely in Very Good Minus condition, with that warm analogue texture collectors chase. The cover has seen better days and sits firmly in Poor condition, but it also wears its age honestly — frayed edges that hint at many evenings of quiet listening. If you love early Bollywood-era storytelling albums, this one fills a special gap in the shelf: not just a soundtrack, but a narrated love saga.
