The Net - Little River Band - LP - Pre Owned Vinyl (Arrives in 21days)

Released in 1983, ‘The Net’ marks a pivotal chapter for Little River Band, capturing the group in a moment of change and creative renewal. With the addition of John Farnham on lead vocals, the album radiates a revitalized energy, blending the band’s signature melodic hooks with a sharper, more dynamic edge. Standout tracks like “We Two” and “You’re Driving Me Out of My Mind” showcase their knack for sophisticated harmonies and tight instrumental interplay, while also embracing a more contemporary Rock sound of the early ‘80s.

Beyond its musical strengths, ‘The Net’ is significant for representing resilience and adaptability—qualities that keep a band relevant as tastes evolve. This record doesn’t simply rest on past glories; it pushes forward, inviting both longtime fans and new listeners to experience a classic group in transition. For collectors and Rock enthusiasts, ‘The Net’ offers not just a snapshot of Little River Band’s evolution, but also a broader glimpse into an era when the boundaries of melodic Rock were being redrawn. It’s a compelling listen for those who appreciate spirited performances and thoughtful craftsmanship.
