Various Artists – Top 2000 – The 70's (2xLP Coloured Vinyl) - Brand New - Vinyl LP Record (Quick Ship)

“Top 2000 – The 70's” gathers the kind of songs that never really left the room, even when the decade did. Drawn from the legendary Dutch Top 2000 canon, this compilation threads together rock, pop, and radio staples that shaped the sound of the 1970s, sequenced to feel less like a playlist and more like a late‑night broadcast from a trusted DJ.

Across two coloured LPs, you move from singer‑songwriter intimacy to big‑screen rock anthems and FM classics, the way listeners originally experienced this music: as a continuous, unpredictable flow. It’s a snapshot of what people actually played, danced to, and argued about, not a revisionist “best of the 70s” assembled decades later.

For collectors, the coloured vinyl pressing adds a tactile, visual pleasure to music that was born in the age of hi‑fi stereos and living‑room speakers. For newer listeners, it’s an accessible gateway into a decade that still echoes through today’s records. Spin it front to back and you’ll hear how the 70s moved—from idealism to grit, from soft‑focus ballads to sharper, more adventurous sounds—captured here in grooves that invite repeated, attentive listening.
