A R RAHMAN RANGEELA Vinyl - Brand New - Vinyl LP Record (Quick Ship)

Pressed to vinyl, A. R. Rahman’s Rangeela becomes more than a beloved 90s soundtrack—it feels like a time capsule of Bollywood on the brink of reinvention. Released in 1995, this album helped rewrite the sound of Hindi cinema, weaving Rahman’s South Indian sensibilities with Mumbai’s street-pop swagger. On wax, the production breathes differently: the bass lines feel warmer, the synths glow softer, and the percussive details step into sharper focus.

Rangeela is packed with songs that defined an era, from the playful charm of its dance-floor anthems to the tender romance of its slower tracks. Rahman’s melodies are instantly memorable, but it’s the layering—live instruments rubbing shoulders with early electronic textures—that gives this soundtrack its enduring pull. You can hear the moment when Bollywood began flirting seriously with global pop while still staying rooted in its own melodic traditions.

For collectors, this vinyl isn’t just nostalgia bait. It’s a document of Rahman in a fearless, exploratory phase, before his global Oscar-winning fame. If you care about the evolution of film music, or simply want a record that lights up a room with 90s Hindi cinema energy, Rangeela on vinyl earns its place on your shelf.
