Dhrupad: Raga Kedar (alap & dhrupad) - Pt. K. G. Ginde Sealed Audio CD

This Meera Music Audio CD captures Pt. K. G. Ginde in rare form, unfolding Raga Kedar slowly, with an alap that feels almost like a sacred conversation and a dhrupad section that anchors every phrase with quiet strength. The mint recordCondition keeps every nuance of his voice intact, while the mint coverCondition makes it feel like a freshly pressed archive piece rather than a used shelf find.

Raga Kedar isn’t background music; it gently pulls the room into a calmer, more attentive space. Each sustained note, each measured pause, has that unmistakable dhrupad gravitas collectors chase but rarely spot in such clean shape. If your shelves lean toward serious Indian classical, this belongs between your most treasured recordings of vocal ragas.
