Hamrahi - Shankar-Jaikishan Used Vinyl LP Record

Original 1963 Shankar–Jaikishan magic, pressed on an EMI LP that still has plenty of life left in it. The record plays in Very Good shape, with that gentle vintage surface hush that actually suits these Hindi film melodies. Strings, sitar flourishes, and lush chorus sections bloom naturally instead of shouting like modern remasters.

The cover sits at Very Good Minus: some honest shelf wear, light edge rubs, but the artwork and text remain intact and readable — the kind of aging that tells you this copy has actually seen a turntable or two.

Spin it and you’re instantly pulled into early‑60s Bollywood romance: sweeping arrangements, playful rhythms, and that unmistakable Shankar–Jaikishan touch that shaped an entire era of film music. It’s the sort of record you reach for on a quiet evening when you want the room to feel a bit more like an old cinema balcony.

If you’ve been hunting for a solid listening copy rather than a sealed museum piece, this one hits the sweet spot. Buy Hamrahi vinyl LP in Very Good condition Today!
