In The Beginning - 1975-1977 - Journey - LP - Pre Owned Vinyl (Arrives in 21days)

Before arena anthems and radio dominance, Journey carved a unique path with an adventurous, progressive sound. 'In The Beginning - 1975-1977' gathers the band’s formative works—albums recorded before Steve Perry’s arrival—offering a window into their early artistry. Here, Journey was a collective of virtuosos exploring jazz-rock fusion, soulful melodies, and fearless improvisation. Neal Schon’s guitar work is alternately fiery and lyrical, while Gregg Rolie’s keyboards and vocals anchor the band’s sound with depth and grit. This collection is a testament to a band in search of its identity, unafraid to experiment and push boundaries. For vinyl collectors and rock historians, these tracks are essential listening—not only for their technical brilliance but for the fresh perspective they offer on a band later known for its pop-rock polish. Owning this album means owning a slice of rock’s evolutionary timeline, with every groove echoing the ambition and spirit of the mid-70s. It’s a document of transition, capturing Journey at a crossroads—before the hits, but brimming with creative possibility. For anyone who cherishes the roots of rock or enjoys rediscovering music’s hidden chapters, this is an indispensable addition to your collection.
