Meera - Ravi Shankar Used Vinyl LP Record

Ravi Shankar scoring Meera for Polydor in 1977 is the sort of match that makes collectors quietly smug. His sitar lines and arrangements give this Hindi devotional story a calm, glowing center that digital reissues never quite capture. This LP spins at 33 RPM on clean, well-loved grooves in Very Good Minus recordCondition, with a Remade coverCondition that’s solid and ready for another few decades on the shelf.

Sonically, this copy still has that late‑70s analog softness: vocals sit close, percussion is rounded, and the sitar blooms instead of biting. It’s the kind of record you put on when the room is dim, the phone’s in another corner, and you want something gently spiritual without being sleepy. If you collect Ravi Shankar, classic Polydor Hindi titles, or just have a weak spot for soulful soundtracks, this belongs in the stack.
