Raag Karim Naam Tero - Pt. Bhimsen Joshi Sealed Audio CD

This Magnasound 2007 pressing of Pt. Bhimsen Joshi’s “Raag Karim Naam Tero” feels like opening the doors of an old mehfil and finding everything untouched by time. The recordCondition is Mint, the coverCondition is Mint, so you get that rare joy of owning a used CD that looks and plays as if it’s just stepped out of the factory. Bhimsen Joshi’s powerful, unhurried taans and deeply meditative alaaps unfold with a warmth that makes modern, compressed streams sound pale in comparison.

Hindi khayal vocals like these reward close listening: every phrase is carved with devotion, yet there’s a spontaneous spark that keeps you leaning in. It’s the kind of disc you put on late at night when the house has finally gone quiet and you’re ready for something deeper than background music. If you’ve been meaning to build (or upgrade) a serious Indian Classical shelf, this is one you’ll reach for again and again. Buy Raag Karim Naam Tero cd in Mint condition Today!
