Raga Darbari (The King Of Ragas—The Raga Of Kings) - Amjad Ali Khan Used Vinyl LP Record

This 1979 His Master's Voice pressing catches Ustad Amjad Ali Khan in that magical, unhurried zone where Raga Darbari feels almost like a whispered secret. The sarod tone here is deep and grainy, with that slightly smoky analog warmth you only get from an older Indian classical LP. Surface shows honest use, but this copy plays in solid Very Good Minus: a touch of light crackle in the quietest phrases, nothing that masks the alap unfolding or those slow, regal bends. The cover has had a hard life—graded Poor—creased, worn, and clearly passed through a few devoted hands, which somehow suits such a legendary midnight raga. If your shelves lean toward serious Indian classical or you just want something to soundtrack slow, thoughtful nights, this one earns its reputation as “The King Of Ragas.” Buy Raga Darbari (The King Of Ragas—The Raga Of Kings) vinyl LP in Very Good Minus condition Today!
