Saving Grace by Plant, Robert. Brand new LP.
Robert Plant releases his new album, Saving Grace, on Nonesuch Records on September 26. It follows the Grammy-nominated collaboration with Alison Krauss, Raise The Roof (2021), and his previous acclaimed releases on the label, lullaby and… The Ceaseless Roar (2014) and Carry Fire (2017). In recent years, Plant’s adventures have centred around Nashville. However, during lockdown spent in The Shire, when wandering was all but forbidden, he fell in with a group of diverse local players. Together, these musicians have grown into an exciting and wide-ranging workshop of style and personality. The resultant “song book for the lost and found" weaves through time and circumstance. With joy and abandon, Plant brings yet another chapter of his ceaseless roar into the daylight.
