Symphony No 2 in D Major, Op. 73 - Johannes Brahms Used Vinyl LP Record

This 1970 Мелодия pressing of Brahms’ Symphony No 2 in D Major, Op. 73 has that unmistakable Soviet-vinyl character: slightly weightier mids, rounded strings, and a real sense of hall space that modern reissues often polish away. The recordCondition is Very Good Minus, so expect light surface noise in the quietest passages, but nothing that spoils the sweep of the orchestra. The coverCondition is Very Good, with just enough shelf wear to remind you it’s traveled a few decades, yet still looks handsome on the shelf. There’s something special about hearing Brahms’ sunniest symphony through a Russian lens — it feels a bit darker around the edges, more autumn than spring, and that contrast makes this copy feel quietly unique. Great for late-night listening, score study, or building a serious Eastern European pressing corner in your collection.
