Symphony No. 5 In D Major - Dmitri Shostakovich Used Vinyl LP Record

This 1973 RCA pressing of Shostakovich’s Symphony No. 5 in D Major has clearly lived a hard, honest life, and that’s part of its charm. The recordCondition is Poor, with visible wear and likely surface noise, but the grooves still hold that tense, slow-burn drama Shostakovich fans chase. The coverCondition is Very Good Minus: some shelf wear and soft edges, yet the spine is readable and the artwork still has that vintage RCA gravitas.

This is the kind of copy you spin when you don’t want to baby your turntable, you just want that brooding opening and the not-quite-triumphant finale rattling the room. It’s also a practical placeholder for your shelf while you hunt down a pristine audiophile edition.
