The Pineapple Thief – Magnolia (2025 Bruce Soord Mix 2lp) - Brand New - Vinyl LP Record (Quick Ship)

Magnolia has always been one of The Pineapple Thief’s most direct and emotionally charged records, and this 2025 Bruce Soord Mix on 2LP vinyl gives it the clarity and weight it always hinted at. Stripped of excess gloss yet rich in detail, Soord’s new mix leans into what the band does best: bittersweet melodies, muscular yet restrained guitars, and arrangements that slowly tighten their grip with each listen.

Here, songs that once felt intimate now bloom across the stereo field. Drums hit with more intent, bass lines finally get the low‑end presence they deserve, and the vocal layers sit forward enough to reveal the cracks, doubts, and quiet resilience in Soord’s delivery. It’s not a radical reinvention; it’s a careful reframing that makes you realize how strong the songwriting always was.

On vinyl, Magnolia becomes less a collection of tracks and more a cohesive late‑night narrative—melancholy but never defeated, tuneful without pandering. If you collect modern rock that values craft over gimmicks, this 2LP is worth owning: a definitive, artist-approved way to experience one of The Pineapple Thief’s key albums with the depth and nuance it deserves.
