Raga: Ahir Bhairav / Raga: Durgeshwari - Ali Akbar Khan Used Vinyl LP Record

1973 HMV pressings of Ali Akbar Khan don’t wander in every day, especially not with this kind of warmth still living in the grooves. Side one’s “Raga: Ahir Bhairav” feels like an early-morning ritual, the tanpura quietly humming while the sarod searches, circles, then settles into something almost meditative. Flip it, and “Raga: Durgeshwari” leans darker and deeper, stretching time in that way only vintage Indian Classical vinyl can.

The record condition is Very Good Minus: a few light marks and faint crackle in the quieter passages, but nothing that buries the sarod’s bite or the tabla’s weight. The cover sits in solid Very Good shape, with the kind of honest shelf wear that tells you this LP has actually been loved, not stored and forgotten.

If your shelf already has Ravi Shankar and you’ve been meaning to give Ali Akbar Khan a permanent spot, this is a quiet little gem of a pressing. Buy Raga: Ahir Bhairav / Raga: Durgeshwari vinyl LP in Very Good Minus condition Today!
