Raga Lalit / Raga Shudh-Kalyan - Bhimsen Joshi Used Vinyl LP Record

There’s a special hush that hangs over Bhimsen Joshi’s early recordings, and this 1970 His Master’s Voice LP catches that quiet magic perfectly. Side A opens into Raga Lalit, unhurried and luminous, with Joshi’s voice gliding over the tanpura like first light through a window. Flip to Raga Shudh-Kalyan and the mood shifts into a warm, late-evening glow, the kind of performance that makes time feel slower and rooms feel smaller.

The record itself is in Very Good Minus condition, with light surface marks that don’t get in the way of the music’s weight and nuance. The cover sits in solid Very Good shape—aged just enough to look like it has lived on a thoughtful collector’s shelf, not in a box in someone’s attic.

If your shelves lean toward serious Indian classical or you’ve just started building a focused HMV-era collection, this is one of those titles that quietly becomes a centerpiece. Buy Raga Lalit / Raga Shudh-Kalyan vinyl LP in Very Good Minus condition Today!
